As two young boys of only 16 and 17, Dano Ashruf and Rashid Badloe also known as the “Afro Bro’s” have always been together, since birth and all. They come from a musical family consisting of DJ’s, party organizers, a reggae band and instrument players, so it was foreseen that they would soon emerge with the same talent. Their roots began to grow long ago.

When their cousin offered them a job for promoting parties, it was instant that Dano and Rashid took it and started working for a nightclub called “Manhattan”. Its from the after hours that they started to listen to the music, out of all the music given they fell in love with house music, and as well began to watch many famous DJ’s from all over the country spin and mix in the booths. Out of all, mostly it was Franky Rizardo standing there. So it began, Dano and Rashid teamed up as DJ’s and came up with the name “Afro Bro’s”! They learned their skill from watching other DJ’s in the club and as well thanks to the wonderful assistance of YouTube.

Their first performance came from their cousin, from there they practiced during their sets from what they learned as they watched before and the tips they picked up along the way. From then out they each bettered themselves to greater standings as they were provided more and more shows to prove their worth as DJ’s, as this continued their name as “Afro Bro’s” was making a spit in the word.

With their combined strengths and abilities and coordinated skills, they bring a passionate and entertaining performance each and every time they perform. Their determination didn’t go unnoticed. At the DJ contest PP2G they fell short of 1st but got Second and won the runner up prize. This prize included a gig for a party: Sexy MotherFucker, all while during this gig the “Afro Bro’s” didn’t know they were being marked and checked on by the Boss himself of big international booking agency: “Essential Artists” V-jay.

From that night everything started to flourish for the “Afro Bro’s”, they got signed and are now performing at some of the best parties and clubs in the Netherlands. They seemed to have reached their goal but it wasn’t enough to fill their thirst, they wanted to stand above with the best more than anything now then ever. Their love of music got them interested in tracks of Hardsoul, Franky Rizardo, Dennis Ferrer, Sidney Samson, Gregor Salto and Chocolate Puma. They wanted to create a style of their own, something that suits them and rocks the clubs all night long, not stopping short of clubs, they wanted to rock the whole world! So watch out, the “Afro Bro’s”, their here to stay, and their unstoppable!!
